Biography
Avni Kansara has been working in Student Affairs since 2012. She began her advising career at UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, working as a Program Manager for the Fully Employed MBA Program before moving to Northern California where she now serves as an Director of Student Experience for the Evening & Weekend MBA Program at UC Berkeley’s Haas School Of Business. She is passionate about higher education and enjoys the ability to provide exceptional advising to her part-time students. In addition to advising, she manages the Orientation program and elective scheduling and enrollment.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior in 2006 and an MBA in 2012, both from UC Irvine.
In her spare time, she writes fiction novels and has published her first novel in 2015 and her second novel in 2019.
