Biography
Joey Maman is a Lead Academic Advisor at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC)’s College of Business Administration. In his role, he is primarily responsible for advising most of the specialized master’s programs including the Master’s of Science in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain and Operations Management. Joey is also responsible for supporting and developing graduate business students through all of their co-curricular initiatives. This includes: supporting all business student organizations, hiring and training of Business Ambassadors, promoting leadership and service opportunities across campus, and organizing networking events for graduate students. In other words, he is your go-to person for helping students with how to be involved and build community on campus.
Joey received a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University, and a BS in Political Science and Theater Studies with an emphasis in Directing from Illinois State University. In his free time, Joey loves to visit the dog beach and participate in escape rooms.
