Biography
Tagrina (Taj) Rayhan joined the University of Maryland, College Park's Robert H. Smith School of Business in March 2016 and serves as the MBA Program Coordinator for the Shady Grove campus. She is very passionate and enthusiastic in her role as she is responsible for the support of the Shady Grove MBA and MS programs and its full-time and part-time students. Her responsibilities include academic advising, program delivery, event management, providing top-notch customer service, and aiding in logistical requirements for the Evening MBA and MS programs.
Tagrina believes in serving students holistically and with purpose. Before relocating to the East Coast and joining Smith, she worked at a California community college where she served disadvantaged students and oversaw a TAACCCT grant-funded program providing students with the opportunity to graduate from career-training programs.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from University of Washington and a Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs (PASA) from the University of Southern California.
